Focus on maintenance of product data and rules.

Feedback from customer projects and a market demanding re-use of existing data, ease of modeling and integration of data is the basis of Release 6.2 of Array Studio, which contains a number of product enhancements to further ease the maintenance of complex product configurations.

Array Studio is a suite of applications designed to ease the model development phase. All the Studio applications are based on the industry standard Eclipse framework version 3.0, enabling a wide array of features to be shared among all applications.

The latest release of Array Configuration features several new product enhancements and a number of advanced features that complement existing products, including:

  • Component based modeling. Enables re-use of common product features and rules in large complex product suites, and eases product modeling in multi user scenarios
  • Model deployment. Automatically deploy compiled models directly to our web-enabled frontend.
  • Complex calculations. Perform advanced mathematical computations and apply procedural scripts to configuration outputs inside the configurator.
  • Linear relations. Allow constraints to be expressed on infinite and undefined domains.
  • Cross model refactoring. Maintains consistency across all models when removing, renaming or generally modifying product features.
  • Improved scalability. New feature allow very complex products to be split into smaller parts and compiled separately.
  • UI properties. Improved UI generation through a large set of options that affect the look and feel of the configurator UI.
  • Dynamic Instantiation. Complex products can be simplified by allowing sub components to be instantiated as needed.
