BetechData A/S (distributor of Autodesk products in Denmark and Norway) has released a new product IPC Entra to supplement the IPC platform - both based on the same configuration technology.

IPC Entra is a very efficient configurations solution for Autodesk Inventor. Powered by a highly advanced and patented technology, IPC Entra makes it very easy to solve even complicated configuration problems.

IPC Entra focuses on using configuration technology to automate those design tasks that are performed most frequently. An example would be customers that has specific needs. Needs that repeatedly requires changes to existing products or product lines.

The IPC (Inventor Product Configurator) product family consist so far of 2 platforms - IPC Entra and IPC. Both platforms are using the same basic patented configuration technology from Array Technology A/S, but are targeted at different set of tasks within the company.

IPC
IPC is the project platform and consequently it can adapt to individually and very complex and specific needs. With IPC it is possible to grant customers access to configure solutions according to their own specific needs. All within the framework of solutions supported by the company.

IPC Entra.
IPC being the project platform, IPC Entra is the product platform. It is the same basic technology ("configuration engine") that is used by IPC as well as IPC Entra. This gives IPC Entra customers the option to upgrade to a much more capable system, should the need arise. The work IPC Entra user have done can be used together with the project platform - IPC.

IPC Entra is extremely easy to use and will improve your personal productivity very fast. IPC Entra is a tool targeted the individual Autodesk Inventor user and the tasks he/she often performs again and again. With IPC Entra you do not however have the option to communicate directly with customers or others within the company not using Autodesk Inventor
